SUNDAY SERVICES

what happens at our services?

Bible Teaching
Singing

During our service we sing together in praise to God.

Feel free to sing along or simply listen to the words and music and what they say about our amazing God.

During our service the Bible is read from. Then a 20-30 minute talk is given explaining the passage, applying its truth to our lives.

Your word is a lamp for my feet,
   a light on my path.

Psalm 119:105

But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

Psalm 13:5-6

prayer

During our service we spend time in prayer, usually spoken by a person from the front. We speak to God, giving thanks to Him and asking for His help and guidance in our lives and the lives of others in our community and around the world.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

cOMMUNION

Two Sundays a month we share Communion together. We eat and drink in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice for us. All who trust in Jesus are welcome to join us in this or you are welcome to simply observe.

For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

1 Corinthians 11:26

morning tea

After each service we love people to stick around and join us for tea and coffee and some morning tea. It is a great time for us to get to know you and vice versa.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

John 13:34

offering

During our service offering bags are handed around. There is no obligation to put money in the offering especially if you are new or visiting. This is more for our church family to contribute to the ongoing mission of our church. Many also contribute online instead of putting money in the bags.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
